How to choose a solar package
Inverter size (kW) sets how much you can run at once. A home running lights, plugs, a fridge, TV and Wi-Fi is well served by 5 kW; add a geyser, pool pump or several aircons and 8 to 12 kW makes more sense.
Battery size (kWh) sets how long you can run without sun or grid. A 5 kWh battery carries a typical home’s essentials through an evening outage; 10 kWh or more gives you a full night.
Single or three phase. Match the inverter to your supply. Three-phase homes and businesses need a three-phase inverter or three single-phase units.
Packages listed here are equipment only. Installation must be done by a registered electrician, who will issue a Certificate of Compliance. Ask for a quote and tell us what you want to keep running.
